The whole staff team at Cherwell Green have gone above and beyond to support Zahir with his journey through Ramadan. Finishing with a big party in the Social Lounge to celebrate Eid, Keeley went to lengths to secure a traditional buffet spread for Zahir and his friends to share after the original caterers let them down at the last minute.

We at the CST office would like to say a huge thank you to the team at 70 Bamford Road who have supported us to continue to support a gentleman that had his care assist alarm go down. it has been several weeks where staff picked up waking nights, supported with shifts that were of all hours. The work and commitment of the team was above and beyond. This was a challange that was taken out of everyones control at the house and they just got on with it. The team were understanding with some of the barriers that were presented and still remained supportive and dedicated. this was not an easy fix situation as funding had been stopped for replacment of the system and alternative equiptment was required taht took some time to get delivered.

Thank you to each and every one of you at the house ( Shirley, Amanda, Michelle, Sharon & Donna) for your support and putting the people you support at the centre of your roles.

A massive thank you to all the managers who jumped on and supported/picked up the on call over Easter weekend, things happen last minute that we sometimes cannot control and it's really appreciated after a tough couple of weeks that managers came together to help out! Thanks everyone!!

I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Anthonia, she has helped out massively with shift cover. She has been really flexible and has sacrificed her days off to work. Thank you for all your help its very much appreciated. 😊

Paul is an amazing support worker! He is so passionate and wants the best for the people we support. I am really pleased with his performance and training progress. His work with a certain individual doesn’t go unnoticed and he deserves some recognition. Every time we see Paul he lights up the room. 😊

Dan has not long settled into Wigan and the work he has achieved in such a short space of time is unbelievable. Dan has had great feedback from his colleagues, supporting them to build their own skills and shown to be a great mentor. Dan has also had great feedback from staff on how supportive he is. Dan is a great asset to our Wigan team and I wanted to say a big big THANK YOU for everything you have done and continue to do day in day out!

I would like to thank the team for working together to provide support to an individual who really values having a consistent staff team. I would like to recognise all their efforts and hard work they continuously put in. 😊

There have been two new tenants at Turncroft Lane. Molly has supported them a couple of times and has already thought ahead of things they might like to do. She has brought in a lot of sensory activities for them both which they have engaged really well with. Molly always works in a very person centred way and makes a difference to the lives of those she supports. Well done Molly.

A big thank you to Sandra, for taking the lead on the Easter Event in Wigan.
Sandra had stepped in last minute and helped with planning and preparation of the event to make it special for our service users.
The service users had an amazing time and staff enjoyed the party too!

Emma is so passionate about everything she does and how she helps her service users. Last week Emma had to deal with a very serious incident at one of her properties. She reacted so well and calm even though she was in a panic state. Emma always ensures her service users are happy and cared for properly. Emma has remained positive throughout the whole time dealing with the incident and is still following up with her service users daily to ensure they are okay. Well Done Emma!!

Stamford Street supported JA to celebrate his 70th birthday in style at the woodside club the night was filled with great company great food Stamford Street staff were absolutely amazing as were all other members of staff from other houses Jordan Robb the staff so person centred and engaging with the people they support other staff were amazing too the night was brilliant happy people everywhere dancing singing not to mention JA giving a wonderful speech thanking all that were there you were all ambassadors to the company a very big well done and thank you xx

Jen went above and beyond to help a service user, to follow his religion, in helping him organise his fasting times and prayer times (even went out of her way to buy him a new prayer mat). to see the look on his face and how happy he was was amazing.

Tracy has recently been promoted, unfortunately for us at Mayburn that has meant she has left us to continue on in her next chapter as a House Manager at Cherwell Green.

Quite often, items brought to the meeting from staff require a HR response. Megan is amazing in dealing with this there and then. She's very proactive in responding to staff, actioning matters and getting staff answers promptly.

i would like to thank Sam and Sian for their support to a tenants mum when he was taken to hospital. Mum has said she would not of been able to manage if they hadn't been there, and she thanked them for being there for her as well as her son. this is wonderful to hear, big thank you to you both!

I would like to say a huge Thank You to the team in Halton, going into my 3rd week of transferring over and have struggled with the change I have experienced a rocky start. I would like to thank each and everyone of the team seniors and support officers for helping me integrate into the team. I appreciate all the help and support with everything.

Nicola from shared lives popped in to see me this week as she wanted to tell me how responsive and supportive Claire and Alison had been when she had raised a concern with them.
Nicola told me that she had never had such supportive managers, and they had made her feel a valued member of the team.

Courtney has recently moved over to Halton and has settled in really well, she has adapted to a very big change and has shown she is confident and knows her stuff! Courtney is supporting with a difficult transition at the minute and she has stood her ground and remained professional during this time even though it has proven difficult, she has supported the team and taken their concerns seriously.

For the last 2 days I have attended the PBM training led by Kelly & Angela. Both are really passionate about the PBM training and ensuring everyone knows how to deal in specific situations, all about the law around PBM & the importance of PBS plans and working towards getting service users off these plans. On a recent Team Leader audit at the property to Mayburn it was so lovely to see the support and care that is upheld for each individual that the house. The staff team have worked hard to cover staff shortages, supported with some quite complex health issues with two of the ladies, continued to show their true values as a team and push through. The house has recently been decorated to make the house feel like a home. The commitment of all the team really is an asset to the company. Thank you and even more so thank you for making me feel welcome when i came to the home.

Last week i attended a training in Stockport based around coaching, little did I know I was on training with Rachel. Team building and a lot of sharing of experiences and self reflection was involved. With this Rachel was like an open book and supported the sessions with her own managerial / coaching experiences. It was a great opportunity to be able to sit down and have a conversation and feel we were getting some really valuable knowledge to be able to grow. Not only this but we had a good laugh to.
